Ready Set...

After making a quick, very long distance call to Belize for my phone interview with Alyssa the registrar at DP, I am pleased to announce that I was officially accepted into YWAM Destination Paradise's Adventure Descipleship Training School!

What is YWAM?

Founded in 1960 by Loren Cunningham, Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is one of the largest missions organizations in the world. There are currently over 15,000 full time YWAM members serving in 160 nations through 1000 operating locations.

YWAM is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus personally through word and deed. The heart of YWAM is to equip and prepare people for service, demonstrate God's love in practical ways, and share God's love and His plan with those who do not know Him.

As a ministry of YWAM, Destination Paradise focuses on training and equipping young leaders for Christian service and, in the process, seize many opportunities to share God's love throughout a world of physical and spiritual need.
